Yø, 87-addicts:

If you live in Beijing, you know that we can’t organize a party without our trusty MC, Jordan Thomas Mitchell. Sometimes he shows up as Chronmaster, Beijing’s hairiest and haziest champion of dope, rap, and rimjobs. Other times, he shows up as a bearded tranny in a wig spitting glitter and champagne on everybody. But one thing’s for sure: dude gets the party started. We like him so much that we decided to release this extraordinary new album.

It’s called Dirge King, and it’s not the weirdo instrumental electronic fare 87非87 normally releases. It’s vocal, and vocal, and dark, and filled with fear and dread. It’s angry and prophetic and it’s damn fine music. It's pop and it's hip-hop but it fucks with both, so it's not.

In fact, it's one of the finest productions we've heard coming out of our smoggy home of Beijing. We're honored to share our bed with the Dirge King. Join us.
